Type of coverage - basic
An electrode that provides low-alloyed martensitic steel in the surfacing, designed to harden surfaces operating under conditions of intense abrasive wear. The deposited layer resists scale formation relatively well at elevated temperatures (up to 875°C). Electrodes are used for surfacing of machine parts subject to wear in the extraction of stone, coal, excavation, sand and crushed stone. They are also used for hardfacing of dredge buckets, feed augers, crushers, scraper blades of graders and excavators, surfaces of parts of agricultural units operating in dry soils. Machinability of the deposited metal - only with abrasive, resistance to abrasive wear is very good, heat resistance is satisfactory.
