PFERD offers shanks for hole saws in a variety of versions. These are adapted to the respective dimensions of the hole saw. Arbor extensions which are suitable for work on hard-to-reach components, for example, are available. Hole saw arbors are designed for mounting the hole saw and the pilot drill and are available in three sizes.
High-performance backing pad with a long tool life thanks to abrasion-resistant, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic. Impresses with particularly cool grinding due to radially arranged cooling fins, and high fibre-disc stock removal rate due to sturdy, rigid design.
PFERD offers an extensive range of scratch brushes with various shapes and filament materials. The file brush effortlessly cleans chips from a clogged file. Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are especially well-suited to work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications. The brush has a robust wooden handle with wear-resistant steel wire filament.
PFERD offers an extensive range of scratch brushes with various shapes and filament materials. Generally suitable for all light cleaning and de-rusting work. In order to fulfil the particular requirements for working with stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from industry has shown that this offers very good corrosion resistance with an optimum tool life. All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are colour-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to become ferromagnetic in the case of cold working; i.e. it can be attracted using magnets. The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C.
